En posts anteriores les hemos hablado de nuestro amor por Italia, sus hermosos y coloridos paisajes y su deliciosa comida entre muchas otras cosas más, tanto es, que uno de nuestros sueños es poder conocerlo y vivirlo todo, de norte a sur y de este a oeste. De este increíble país, tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer Florencia; una de las ciudades más renombradas y turísticas, y que, como era de esperarse, nos encantó a las dos. Hoy, en Sisterly Style queremos compartir con ustedes nuestros tips cuando estén visitando esta hermosa ciudad de La Toscana, contarles qué hicimos y cómo lo vivimos.
Una de las cosas que más nos gustó es que por su ubicación es muy fácil visitar otros lugares que se encuentran muy cerca como Sienna, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni y muchos más sitios iconicos de esta región tan espectacular. Además, cada uno está lleno de historia. Para los amantes del vino es todo un paraíso y el aceite de oliva sabe a un pedacito del cielo.
Comernos un gelato era uno de los momentos que más esperábamos cada día. Nos encantaron los de “Edoardos” en el Duomo, “La Carraia” cerca de La Santa Croce o por el Puente de La Carraia y en Grom.
Florencia es una ciudad pequeña o que se recorre fácilmente porque todo esta cerca. El imponente y hermoso Duomo, la Piazza Della Repubblica, Piazza Della Signoria, donde está el MUSEO DE GUCCI, Santa Croce, el emblemático Ponte Vecchio y Palazzo Pitti son algunos de los lugares que visitamos. Si el clima lo permite, subir a Piazzale Michelangelo para ver toda la ciudad y el atardecer es un plan imperdible que les recomendamos.
En cuanto a comida nos gustó muchísimo All’Antico Vinaio donde comimos unos paninis riquísimos; están catalogados como los mejores del mundo. Hay veces toca hacer fila pero vale la pena esperar. Otros deliciosos son Vinaino di Parte Guelfa,Trattoria da Mario, que es un lugar muy famoso para los locales y no se pierdan conocer el Mercato Centrale.

In previous posts we have talked about our love for Italy, its beautiful and colorful landscapes and its delicious food among many other things. From this incredible country, we had the opportunity to get to know and visit Florence; one of the most renowned and tourist cities in the world, and as expected for both of us, it was love at first sight. Today, in Sisterly Style we want to share with you our travel guide for this beautiful city of the italian Tuscany.
One of the things we liked most is that because of its location, it’s very easy to visit other cities that are very close by such as Sienna, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and many more iconic sites, that are full of history, of this spectacular region. For wine lovers it’s a paradise and let us tell you that here, olive oil tastes like a little piece of heaven.
Eating a gelato was by far one of the best moments each day. We loved “Edoardos” near at the Duomo, “La Carraia” near La Santa Croce or the Bridge of La Carraia and in “Grom”.
Florence is a small city or one that is easily covered because everything is nearby. The imposing and beautiful Duomo, the Piazza Della Repubblica, Piazza Della Signoria, where the GUCCI MUSEUM is, Santa Croce, the iconic Ponte Vecchio and the Palazzo Pitti are some of the places we visited. If the weather allows you, going up to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the whole city, much better in the sunset, is a must-see plan that we highly recommend.
As far as food we liked very much “All’Antico Vinaio” where we ate some delicious paninis; they are cataloged as the best paninis in the world. Other delicious are “Vinaino di Parte Guelfa” & “Trattoria da Mario”, which is a very famous place for locals and don’t miss getting to know and going to Mercato Centrale.
