TRAVEL & LIVING: Once Upon A Time in Panamá

Hace unos días tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer parte de una experiencia encantadora: disfrutar de un par de días en Ciudad de Panamá junto a CHANEL y un grupo de mujeres increíbles entre ellas, nuestra mamá. ¡Mejor imposible!

Deleitarnos en Casco Viejo y sus rincones mágicos, comer delicioso en lugares innovadores y únicos con una atmósfera espectacular y, pasar una mañana increíble en la recién inaugurada tienda de Chanel, una de las más imponentes de América en el Soho Mall era la principal aventura de esta invitación. Fue un viaje espectacular que se quedará en nuestros recuerdos y en nuestra memoria para siempre. Por esto hoy quisimos compartir con ustedes algunas de nuestras imágenes favoritas. ¡Esperamos que les gusten!

A few days ago we had the opportunity to be part of a delightful experience: enjoy a few days in Panama City with CHANEL and a group of incredible women and our mom. What else can you ask for!

Have fun in Casco Viejo and its magical places, eat delicious on charming and unique restaurants with a great atmosphere and spent an amazing morning at the newly opened Chanel Boutique in Soho Mall was a great plan for the holidays. It was a spectacular trip that’ll remain in our heart and in our memory forever. That’s why we wanted to share with you some of our favorite photos that will illustrate you about this trip. El  American Trade Hotel fue el elegido para hospedarnos. Un lugar sencillamente mágico en donde nos sentimos en una película desde el momento en el que entramos.

The American Trade Hotel was the chosen place to enjoy our stay. A place with a magic atmosphere that maked us feel as if we’re living in a movie. 
Definitivamente nosotras tenemos algo con los pisos y CHANEL 😉 😉

Momentos antes de salir a comer. Con algunas de nuestras compañeras disfrutando del lobby del hotel. Una de las cosas que más nos gustan de los edificios del Casco Viejos son sus pisos. Los mosaicos son espectaculares.

Before going out to a special dinner with the girls we enjoyed the beautiful lobby from our hotel. One of the things we like the most about Casco Viejo in Panama City, are the amazing and colorful floors full of mosaics and lovely designs. 

Tuvimos una velada increíble. Por cierto, ¿nos seguiste en SNAPCHAT? Allí documentamos minuto a minuto esta encantadora invitación. Ahora estábamos listas para un nuevo día lleno de emoción, moda y obviamente CHANEL. Nos encantó la vista desde nuestro balcón… el sol estaba brillando y el estaba clima ideal.

We had an amazing evening. Then we were ready for a new day full of excitement, fashion and obviously CHANEL. We loved the view from our balcony… the sun was shinning and the weather was perfect.  Después de un delicioso desayuno, salimos a recorrer las calles del Casco Viejo. ¿Qué opinan la belleza de las construcciones, el colorido, la arquitectura y el mágico ambiente de éste lugar? Es la mezcla perfecta entre Europa colonial y el Caribe tropical.

After a delicious breakfast we went for a stroll through the streets of Casco Viejo. What do you think about the magical atmosphere, the architecture, and the beauty in this place? It’s the perfect mix between colonial Europe and the tropical Caribbean.

Con ella, nuestra fortaleza, la luz más hermosa, el mejor ejemplo, y la mejor compañía. Nuestra MAMÁ.

Después llegamos al cielo de la moda; la tienda CHANEL en Panamá ubicada en el SOHO Mall.

Then, we arrived at FASHION’S HEAVEN… CHANEL’s Panama store in the SOHO Mall.  Después de conocer las últimas tendencias y diseños de la casa francesa, entre éstos su nuevo reloj BOY-FRIEND todo un clásico lleno de sofisticación y elegancia; estuvimos celebrando la Navidad en el taller “LEMARIÉ” dónde aprendimos cómo se hacen las camelias de alta costura e hicimos nuestros propios diseños. Fue espectacular!

We walked by the store, saw and tried on shoes, handbags and the new watch BOY-FRIEND. Then, we did the “LEMARIÉ” workshop, where we learned about how the haute-couture artisans make and assemble the iconic camellies.

Para cerrar qué opinan de los clásicos. Definitivamente piezas atemporarles que puedes usar toda la vida. Nos encanta esta tienda porque su formato es tal como el de las grandes ciudades, por lo que está a la altura de las Boutiques de Paris, New York y Londres con piezas en colores especiales, de colecciones puntuales además de los clásicos de siempre.

Last but never least, the classics. Timeless pieces to wear for a lifetime. We love this particular boutique because has the same format as the ones of Paris, London or New York; reason why you can find special items, certain colors among the timeless pieces. 

Este viaje dejó lleno de mágicos recuerdos nuestros corazones y fue una aventura que jamás olvidaremos. ¡A todo el equipo, muchas gracias por la compañía tan espectacular! ¡Gracias CHANEL por invitarnos a vivir espacios tan interesantes que se vuelven experiencias de vida!
