En las pasadas vacaciones, tuvimos el privilegio de vivir una experiencia que nos encantó. Conocer el PAMM, ó el Pérez Art Museum de Miami y podríamos decir que es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos en el 305.
Aunque fue fundado en ’96 como sucesor del Center for the Fine Arts, en el ’13 cambió de sede y se trasladó sobre Biscayne Bay en una impactante y moderna construcción diseñada por los arquitectos Herzog & De Meuron.
Lo llamamos toda una experiencia porque para nosotras reúne un conjunto de elementos significativos, memorables e impactantes: Ubicación sobre la bahía, un imponente diseño y unos jardines de ensueño. La cafetería o el restaurante son deliciosos y super recomendados para almorzar o comer. Nos encantó el plan de sentarnos en la terraza y vivir nuestro “picnic” urbano antes de entrar. Quisimos compartir nuestras obras preferidas, si van a Miami, no se lo pueden perder !Esperamos que les guste!
In the past vacations we had the privilege to live a great experience. We get to know the PAMM, or the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Now we could say that is one of our favorite spots in the 305. Why? Will tell you why 😉
Although it was founded in ’96 as the successor of the Center for the Fine Arts, in ’13 changed its location and moved to Biscayne Bay in a stunning and modern building designed by architects Herzog & De Meuron. We call it an experience because for us it meets a set of meaningful, memorable and shocking elements: Location on the Biscayne Bay, stunning design and dream gardens. A coffee shop or an outdoor restaurant are good and delicious options for lunch, dinner or a snack. We loved the plan to sit on the terrace and live our urban “picnic” in front of the ocean right before we enter to the museum.
We want to share with you our favorite pieces from the exhibition. For us, this place is a must when visiting Miami! Hope you like it too!
