Como reza el famoso dicho, en la variedad está el placer. Puede que para muchas cosas no aplique pero para otras tantas si… en temas de armario, somos de las que decimos que entre más versátil sea una prenda, pues mil veces mejor. Es precisamente esto lo que nos pasa con esta chaqueta. Una pieza llena de color, bordados y sobretodo mucho pero mucho brillo.
Para muchos esta pieza podría estar reservada solo para la noche y ocasiones ultra formales, pues bien, para nosotras, la chaqueta por si sola es la protagonista y se puede acomodar y usar en múltiples ocasiones de uso; todo depende de cómo y con qué nos la ponemos. (Hace poco para un coctel muy especial, dónde éramos las anfitrionas, la estilizamos con top beige, falda de plumas crema y unos zapatos rojos de tacón para resaltar los hermosos bordados; la etiqueta era “FEARLESS”, así tal cual, en inglés… y nos sentimos súper bien) Para esta ocasión, estábamos en Londres y teníamos una comida con amigos. Que mejor oportunidad para usarla y reinventarla según nuestro estilo pues le queríamos dar la vuelta y usarla de una manera diferente, inesperada y sobretodo, más informal con jeans desgastados y tenis. ¿Qué te parece?
As the famous saying goes, “in variety is the soul of pleasure”. In wardrobe matters it’s one our our premises; we are those who say that the more versatile a garment is the better. This is precisely what happens to us with this jacket. A piece full of brightness, color and embroideries.
For many this piece could be reserved only for the night and ultra formal occasions; well, for us, the jacket by itself is the star of the outfit and can be mixed with other pieces to be worn on multiple occasions. It all depends on how you and with what you wear it. (Recently for a very special cocktail, in which we were hosts, we wore it with a beige top, a cream feathered mini skirt and red heels to highlight its beautiful embroidery; the “dresscode” was “FEARLESS” and we felt super good). For this occasion, we were in London and had a very special dinner with some friends. What a better opportunity to use it and reinvent it according to our style. We just wanted to wear it in a different, unexpected and above all, more informal way. What do you think?
