Uno de nuestros lugares preferidos en el mundo es Worth Ave. En Palm Beach. El hecho de poder compartirlo con nuestra mamá, y de disfrutarlo cada vez que lo visitamos no tiene precio. Al lado de la playa y lleno de flores, pasadizos, estatuas y boutiques que parecen sacados de un cuento de hadas, es ideal pasar la tarde, comer; además de recorrerlo caminando y disfrutando de un paisaje tan diferente y elegante. Quisimos compartir con ustedes una tarde inolvidable de nuestras últimas vacaciones.
El día de estas fotos, queríamos vestirnos a la altura de éste maravilloso lugar. Los detalles son los que cuentan historias y al mismo tiempo, los protagonistas de cada uno de los tres looks. Texturas y bordados como los de la falda de nuestra mamá, el pelaje sintético de la chaqueta de Amelia y el estampado ikat o tribal de la chqueta “bomber” de Elisa eran las piezas claves sobre las cuales giraban los outfits. Buscamos complementar y crear equilibrio con el resto de las prendas, pues creemos que al vestir, siempre debe haber una pieza clave que se robe todas las miradas y direccione el estilo de cada look. Esperamos que les guste!
One of our favorite places in the world is Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. Being able to share it with our mom, and enjoy it every time we visit the city is priceless. Next to the beach and full of flowers, passages, statues and trendy boutiques that seem to be taken from a fairy tale; it is an ideal place to spend the afternoon, eat something delicious while enjoying of such a different and elegant place. We wanted to share with you our memories of an unforgettable evening from our last vacation.
The day we took these pictures, we wanted to dress up to according to this enchanted place. We believe details tell stories and at the same time, they were the key elements of each one of the three looks. Textures and embroideries from our mom’s skirt, faux fur form Amelia’s jacket and the ikat print of Elisa’s “bomber ” jacket were the statement pieces form each outfit. We seek to complement and create balance with the rest of the clothes, believing that in an everyday look there should always be a bold and statement piece, which all the rest of the clothes, will finally complement.
