El cielo azul, unos 15º de temperatura y el escenario perfecto: El Gran Palais, en la capital francesa. El pasado 04 de Octubre vivimos una experiencia única al ser invitadas por la casa de moda francesa, CHANEL, para ser testigos de su desfile en el marco de la semana de la moda de Paris.
“Tecnología íntima” fue el tema de la colección en donde Karl Lagerfeld se inspiró en la visión de una mujer caminando por kilómetros de cables, estantes metálicos y gabinetes de computadora: ella es el corazón del #DataCenterCHANEL, quien tiene la última palabra y la mujer de este universo digital. La feminidad tiene un papel protagonista dentro de la colección mostrándose atrevidamente al combinar la audacia de la lencería chic con la comodidad del tweed. Como lo describe la casa francesa, “la mujer CHANEL PV ’17 viste su babydoll y su negligé en seda y encaje. Y sobre eso, luce despreocupada una chaqueta de tweed con hombros redondeados, mangas largas y solapas anchas, y una falda pantalón con cierre al frente y atrás. Lleva una cartera de mano en forma de robot”.
Explosiones de color se encuentran por todas partes sobre fondos de azul, rojo, amarillo, rosa, morado, negro y azul marino, además de una interesante mezcla de pasteles y tonos eléctricos. Blusas con puños con volantes y vestidos de seda con motivos inspirados en el mundo digital, además de vestidos con enormes bolsillos con formas redondas. La colección abre la puerta a una feminidad exquisita, en donde la seda, el encaje y el georgette de crepé se entremezclan en delicadas tonos perla, rosa pálido, rosa caramelo y durazno, paseando hasta el azul medianoche. A partir de ahí la propuesta se basa en que la ropa interior se convierte en ropa visible: chalecos plisados se entallan sobre babydolls y negligés, mientras que faldas de encaje guipur y pantalones de pijama de seda y encajes piden ser utilizados en el día a día. Las blusas se combinan con cierres, lentejuelas, plumas y volantes; mientras que los vestidos de noche se enfocan en voluminosos plisados adornados con bordes de plumas llenos de fuerza.

Blue skies, 15ºC and the perfect scenery: The Grand Palais, in Paris. Last Tuesday, on October 4th we had the chance to attend the CHANEL SS ’17 runway show on #PFW.
“Intimate technology” was the theme of his collection where Karl Lagerfeld inspired on his vision that celebrates a woman walking through kilometres of cables, metallic racks and computer cabinets: she is the very heart of the #DataCenterCHANEL, she who is the final word and the mistress of this digital universe. This season more than ever, with grace and tenderness, femininity takes control in a collection that allies the audacity of lingerie and the comfort of tweed. As the maison says, “the SS ’17 CHANEL woman wears her babydoll and negligee in silk and lace. And over that she nonchalantly sports a tweed jacket with rounded shoulders, long sleeves and wide lapels, and a pair of culottes zipped at the front and back. She wears a robot-clutch”
Explosions of color are everywhere over backgrounds of blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, black and navy, a mix of pastels and electric shades. Blouses with ruffled cuffs, and silk dresses whose motifs are inspired by the digital world, or other dresses with huge rounded pockets. It opens the door to an exquisite femininity, where silk, lace and crepe georgette intermingle in the most delicate hues of powder, pale pink, candy pink, blush and peach sashaying through to midnight blue with sparkles of sequins that look like electronic components, feathers and flounces.From there on, underwear becomes over wear.
